Thoughts on WCLS ...

I was a little nervous as my family did not go to Shul when I was growing up and I was not sure what it would be like, how formal/informal it would be or how much knowledge I should already have.  I needn’t have worried because I found people to be very warm and welcoming and no-one asked difficult questions e.g. about my background or level of Hebrew!  It was particularly helpful to be introduced to another young woman who was in a similar situation and to meet a couple of individuals who attend Shul nearly every week as they were useful points of reference for when I came back to visit again
